Ann Knutt

Ann Knutt, age 64 of Beckemeyer, passed away at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Ann was born in Seoul, South Korea on February 24, 1962, a daughter of Jerome and Jung “Jean” Kruse. She married Bryan Knutt on August 25, 1987, and he survived in Beckemeyer. Ann and Bryan shared 43 years together, including 39 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband Bryan, Ann is also survived by a son, Eric Kruse; a sister, Lori Smith; and 2 brothers, Jim Kruse and Don Kruse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Jean Kruse; a son, Fred Knutt; and a brother, Jerry Kruse.

Ann was a 1980 graduate of Central High School. She worked at KMK Fabricators for 16 years before joining Jim’s Formal Wear, where she had worked for the past nine years. Ann loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and mushroom hunting with her family. She also enjoyed getting together with friends for a night out playing Bingo.
