Annabel M. Dieckman Obituary (1923 - 2012)

Annabel M. Dieckman, age 89 of Carlyle and formerly of Keyesport, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Illinois. Mrs. Dieckman was born on March 18, 1923, in Greenville, a daughter of Archie C. and Nellie Mae (Potts) Sparlin. She married Henry Franklin Dieckman on April 17, 1943, in St. Louis and he survives in Carlyle. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dieckman is also survived by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Keyesport Methodist Church and worked 21 years as a beautician. Funeral services will be held at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle on 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 12, 2012, with Rev. Cheryl Cain, officiating. Interment will follow at McKendree Chapel Cemetery in Keyesport. Visitation will be held at Zieren Day Funeral Home from 9:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Dieckman are suggested to the Salvation Army, Keyesport Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received at Zieren Day Funeral Home.
