Barbara Anderson

Barbara L. Anderson, age 67 of Carlyle, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, Illinois. Mrs. Anderson was born on December 30, 1940, in East St. Louis, Illinois, a daughter of Raymond and Helen (Dilday) Hayden. She married Robert Anderson in Carlyle, Illinois in May of 1976 and he survives in Carlyle. In addition to her husband Bob, Mrs. Anderson is also survived by 3 sons Edward Lange and wife Betty of Killeen, Texas, Arthur D. Lange and wife Angela of Sullivan, Illinois and Gary Lange of Butler, North Carolina; a step-daughter Lori Anderson of Belleville, Illinois; 2 step-sons Mark Anderson and wife Susan of Shiloh, Illinois and Mike Anderson and wife Cindy of Belleville, Illinois; 4 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a sister Diane Hayden of Collinsville, Illinois and a brother Joe Hayden and wife Carla of Pontoon Beach, Illinois. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a daughter Kay Lynn Hubbard; a step-granddaughter Jennifer Anderson and 2 sisters Imogene Wilson and Nadene Cherry. Mrs. Anderson was a housekeeping supervisor at the Holiday Inn and Best Western hotels in the Metro East. She enjoyed attending yard sales. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Carlyle Cemetery in Carlyle, Illinois. Friends and family are asked to gather at the cemetery.
