Bruna Jones Obituary (1919 - 2007)

Bruna R. Jones was born on June 21, 1919, in Tovey, Illinois, a daughter of Angelo and Tomasina (Orlandini) Gherardini. Mrs. Jones was a home maker and a farm wife. She was a member of St. Rita's Church in Kincaid, Illinois and the Christian County Home Extension. She enjoyed cooking, ceramics, painting and sewing. Bruna R. Jones entered into rest on Sunday, September 23, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Illinois. She was 88 years of age. Mrs. Jones is also survived by a daughter Mary Ann Luebbers and husband Lawrence of Oaktown, Virginia; a grandson Jared Bruce Luebbers and a sister Olga Gherardini of Taylorville, Illinois. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers Leo, Paul, Italo and Tony Gherardini and a sister Pia Dalpoas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at St. Rita's Church in Kincaid. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
