Carmel Tulgetske Obituary (1957 - 2011)

Carmel Quinn Tulgetske, age 53 of Pocahontas, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at her residence. She was born June 6, 1957, in Chicago, a daughter of Carl and Nettie Lou (Linton) Potts. She married Randy Tulgetske on March 1, 1992, in Highland and he survives. She is also survived by her mother - Nettie Lou Potts of Highland; 4 daughters - Samantha Ramsey of Highland, Sabrina Mahr of Pierron, Randi Hood of Carlyle and Kristy Chrobak and husband Tony of San Diego, California; a son - Dustin Tulgetske of Pocahontas; a step son - Bryan Tulgetske of Shipman; 7 grandchildren - Marissa B. Mahr, Jeremiah S. Mahr, Brayden C. Ramsey, Zachary C. Ramsey, Kyler G. Hood, Ryleigh M. Tulgetske and Lucas M. Tulgetske and 2 sisters - Linda Magnus and husband Fred of Dallas, Texas and Lilly Flakus of Pierron. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother - Carl (Buddy) Potts. Carmel had been the production manager for Clean Uniform Company in Highland. In her free time, she enjoyed baking cakes, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 24 at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle with Pastor T.J. Moore officiating. Interment will follow in McKendree Chapel Cemetery near Keyesport. Friends may call at Zieren Day Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Memorials are suggested to the family or to Bond County Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
