Cleeta Sue Rinne Obituary (2015)

She passed through the gates into a better place. I can still see her with her smiling face. And all her memories will be held high like birds flying high in the sky. Cleeta S. Rinne, age 52 of Carlyle, died on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs. Rinne was born in St. Louis on July 29, 1962, a daughter of Pete and Barbara (Haley) Richardson. She married Ronald Rinne in Carlyle on November 14, 2002, and he survives in Carlyle. Cleeta is also survived by her children - Jesse Skaggs and wife Brittanie of Carlyle; David Skaggs and wife Ravyna of Charlotte, North Carolina; Steven Richardson and wife Kelly of Mascoutah; Brian Rinne and fiance Jody Pillow of Carlyle and Keith Rinne and fiance Jamie Greer of Breese; her grandchildren - Landon Skaggs, Maddalynne and Brayddenn Sergeson, Ashley Hostmeyer and fiance Derrick Wombacher, Winter Richardson, and Hayli, Emily and Lucas Rinne. She was expecting the arrival of another granddaughter, Kaylynne Skaggs. Also surviving is a brother - Pete Richardson and wife Christine of Du Quoin; a sister - Pennie Hawes and husband Tim of Desoto; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rinne was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and crafts. God called your name so gently, that only you could hear. No one heard the footsteps of an angel drawing near. Softly from the shadows there came a gentle call, you closed your eyes and went to sleep...you quietly and peacefully left us all. Private services will be held. Expressions of sympathy in her memory are suggested to the American Heart Association and will be received at Zieren Day Funeral Home.
