Deborah C. Slygh Obituary (2011)

Deborah C. Slygh was born on March 24, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of Merle and Louise (Coleman) Stepp. She married Mark Slygh on November 20, 1981, in Columbus and he survives in Bartelso. Deb was the president of ADS, Affordable Data Service. She was active in Relay for Life and her relay team, The Cancer Crusaders. She enjoyed flower gardening and her beloved dogs, Harley Belle and Skooter. Deborah C. Slygh passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. She was 51 years of age. In addition to her husband, Deb is also survived by her parents - Merle and Louise Stepp of Ocala, Florida; a son - Dustin Payne and special friend Niki of Centralia; a grandson - Jayden; a sister - Sandy Chapman and husband David and a brother - Tim Stepp and wife Barbara, all of Sunbury, Ohio; 2 nieces, Shana and Geneva; 2 nephews, Josh and David and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews-in-law. Funeral services for Mrs. Slygh will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 7, 2011, at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle. Visitation will be held at Zieren Day Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. In lieu of other gifts, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society for Ovarian Cancer Research and will be received at the funeral home.
