Ellen F. Noe Obituary (1920

Ellen F. Noe, age 92 of Carlyle, entered into rest on Friday, November 16, 2012, at her residence in Carlyle. Mrs. Noe was born on January 19, 1920, in Clinton County, Illinois, a daughter of Fredrick William and Tillie (Swagler) Wiedle. She married Merwin Noe on July 10, 1948, in Ottawa, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1982. Mrs. Noe is survived by a sister-in-law - Cecilia Wiedle of Shattuc and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband - Merwin Noe; her parents - Fredrick and Tillie Wiedle; and her brothers - Alfred, Clifford, Lewis, Herman and Laverne Wiedle. Mrs. Noe was a school photographer and retired in 1972. She was a member of the Carlyle Christian Church, Pride of Erie Rebekah Lodge #665, Order of the Eastern Star #518, and the Senior Women's Club. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle with Rev. Dallas Nickel, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Centralia. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time. Donations in Mrs. Noe's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received at Zieren Day Funeral Home.
