Frieda Michael Obituary (1923

Frieda Michael was born on June 17, 1923, in Carlyle, Illinois, a daughter of Louis and Anne (Hugo) Hanke. She married Alfred Michael on October 19, 1947, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin, Illinois and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1993. Mrs. Michael was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia. Frieda Michael entered into rest on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Dammert Geriatric Center at Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois. She was 83 years of age. Mrs. Michael is survived by a daughter Betty Astrouski and husband James of Belleville; a grandson Joseph Michael Astrouski and a brother LeRoy Hanke and wife Verna of Salem, Illinois. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Michael was preceded in death by 3 brothers Walter, Ralph and Edwin Hanke and a sister Edna Meentemeyer.
