Glenda K. Tobin Wells, age 52 of Huey, entered into rest on Friday, September 21, 2012, at her daughter's residence in Huey. Ms. Wells was born on June 7, 1960, in Breese, Illinois, a daughter of Glen E. and Rachel (Ellis) Tobin. Her parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by 2 aunts - Bertha and Mabel and an uncle - Ernest. Survivors include a daughter - Teresa Lilly and husband Eugene of Huey; 2 sons - Paul D. Wells, Jr. and wife Jonelle of Carlyle and Glen Wells and fiance Malinda Weaver of Sandoval; 4 grandchildren - Herbert and Jesse Lilly, Kristian Wells and Trenton Wells; a sister - Lilabelle Thomak of Walnut Hill and a brother - Carl Tobin and wife Jackie of Huey. Glenda was a member of Huey Methodist Church and worked at Quip Industries and Wal-Mart, both in Carlyle. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 24, 2012, at Zieren Day Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Souders, officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - service time at the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Glenda are suggested to her family and will be received at the funeral home.
