Gloria M. Garcia

Gloria M. Garcia, age 90 of Beckemeyer, entered into rest on Thursday, November 06, 2008, at Carlyle Healthcare Center in Carlyle. She was born in Springfield, Illinois on February 16, 1918, a daughter of Joaquin "Jack" and Gloria (Perez) Gonzalez. She married Henry "Beans" Garcia, Jr. at St. Anthony's Church in Beckemeyer on July 22, 1939, and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2006. Mrs. Garcia is survived by 2 daughters - JoAnn "Cook'e" Wuebbles and husband Gary and Jacqueline "Jackie" Aarns and husband Carl, all of Beckemeyer; a son -Henry J. "Bozo" Garcia and wife Phyllis of Breese, Illinois; 4 grandchildren - Timothy Aarns and wife Janice, Michelle Nicklin and husband Corey, Brent Garcia and wife Brenda and Brian Garcia and wife Tara; 8 great grandchildren - Tiffany and Taylor Aarns, Parker, Connor Jack and Kennedy Nicklin, Ashley Galbiati and Devin and Connor Jankowski; a brother - Ralph Gonzalez and wife Evelyn of Jacksonville, Illinois and 5 sisters-in-law - June Gonzalez, Lorraine Gonzalez and Alberta Garcia, all of Beckemeyer and Delores Garcia and Ettamae Lien and husband Hilmer, all of Breese. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers - Manuel "Abie" Gonzalez, Joe Gonzalez and Joaquin "Jack" Gonzalez and 4 brothers-in-law - Emil Garcia, Joe Garcia and wife Olga, John Garcia and Arthur Garcia.
