Josephine Willey

Josephine "Jo" Willey, 90, of Macomb Illinois passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016.

Josephine was born on March 8, 1926, in Monmouth, Illinois to Archie and Elsie Murphy. She was united in marriage to George T. Willey on June 1, 1946, who preceded her in death in 1991. They were married for 45 years.

A loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Josephine enjoyed making ceramic dolls and caring for her numerous pets. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and was known for her beautiful roses. She was an avid reader.

Josephine is survived by her children; Tawny Butcher and husband Dale, David Willey and wife Martha, Douglas Willey and wife Janet, Daniel Willey and fiance Kristina List; 7 loving grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Murphy, half-brothers Paul and Bud Murphy, and a half-sister Betty.

Private services will be held at the Willey cemetery at a later date.
