Larie D. Biggs

Larie Biggs, age 77 of Carlyle, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia. He was bornon December 31, 1933atBoulder IL a son of William and Ola (Cooley) Biggs. He married Mary Ann Schoreck on March 16, 1971 in Kentucky and she preceded him in death on February 21, 2002. He is survived by a step daughter Deborah Brandon & husband Alan of Harrisburg IL. 3 Brothers Harold Bissg of Centralia IL. Charles Biggs of Centralia, and James Biggs of Rockford IL. also surviving is a sister Audrey Johnson of Breese IL 9 Step Grandchildren and 16 step Great Grandchildren In addition to his wife & parents he was preceded in death by 2 step children Lonnie Rouse, & Carolyn Sue Bailey.Brothers Wayne Biggs and Clarence Biggs, a sister Mickey Schulte and 2 infant sisters. Larie was a life long area resident and worked for Moran Shoe Company in Carlyle. He was also a dairy laborer and station attendant. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed stock car racing. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at McKendree Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
