Linda Nobles

Linda Kay Nobles, age 79, passed away on August 21, 2024, at her home in Breese, IL. Mrs. Nobles was born on September 4, 1944, in Decatur, Illinois, to the late Harold Wright and Phyllis Smith. She married David Nobles on June 12, 2002, in Beaumont, Texas.
Linda worked as a registered nurse for 34 years in Illinois, Minnesota, and Texas. Her shining moment was working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Linda loved animals and picked up many strays over the years. She would help these animals find their way back home or find a new family for them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Hardiek; a brother, Gary Wright; and her sister, Judy Meyer.
Linda is survived by her husband; her son, Todd Hardiek; her daughter, Michelle (Fran) Oliver; step sons, Todd Nobles and Kyle Nobles; her grandchildren, Blissany (Gerschwin) Onna, Nataleigh (Chris) Tancredi, Alex Oliver, Trevor Noffsinger, Jonathon Hardiek, and Amanda (Jordan) Harmon; her great grandchildren, Leo Onna, Carina Tancredi, Zachary Tancredi, Maverick Tancredi, Maci Harmon, Madeline Warren, Marleah Harmon, and Makenna Harmon; her brothers, John (Cheryl) Wright, Larry (Lisa) Wright, Bryan Wright; and her half-brother, Mike (Cindy) Wright; her half-sisters, Denise (Aurdie) Bellard, Tina (Keith) Lafleur; and her brothers- in-law, Kim Nobles and Kenneth Meyer.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Nobles are suggested to the Clinton County Humane Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
