Randal O. Tulgetske Obituary (1955 - 2012)

Randal O. Tulgetske was born on January 6, 1955, in Rogers City, Michigan, a son of Thomas E. and Elli (Voigt) Tulgetske. He married Carmel Q. Potts on March 1, 1992, in Highland, Illinois, and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2011. Randy worked as a production supervisor in the manufacturing industry and worked at Barry-Wehmiller and numerous other companies. He loved camping and traveling in his R.V., cooking, and was an avid woodworker. Randy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and didn't know a stranger. Randal O. Tulgetske entered into rest on Friday, December 21, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. He was 57 years of age. Mr. Tulgetske is survived by his mother - Elli Henderson of Highland; 4 daughters - Samantha Ramsey of Highland, Sabrina Mahr of South Carolina, Randi Hood of Pocahontas and Kristy Chrobak of California; 2 sons - Dustin Tulgetske of Highland and Brian Tulgetske and wife April Shipman, Illinois; 8 grandchildren - Marissa and Jeremiah Mahr, Brayden and Zachary Ramsey, Kyler Hood, Ryleigh and Lucas Tulgetske and Baby Makenna; his loving best friend, Diane LaRose of Carlyle; a sister - Gay Ann Bast and her best friend, Erwin "Deke" Busch of Highland and a brother - Thomas R. Tulgetske and wife Gladys of Arkansas. In addition to his wife Carmel, Randy was preceded in death by his father - Thomas E. Tulgetske and a brother-in-law - William Bast. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, December 28, 2012, at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle with Rev. Mark Goldman, officiating. Interment will follow at McKendree Chapel Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at Zieren Day Funeral Home on Friday, December 28 from 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. In lieu of other gifts, donations in Mr. Tulgetske's memory are suggested to his family and will be received at Zieren Day Funeral Home.
