Sharon Parsons

Sharon Parsons, age 77 of Carlyle, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Parsons was born on September 28, 1937, in Sullivan, Illinois, a daughter of Gerald and Anna (Lackey) Smith. She married Robert Parsons in Robinson, IL on January 14, 1956.

Sharon is survived by her children - Frances Wadlow of Mascoutah and Curtis Parsons and wife Susie of Elsberry, MO. Four Grandchildren - Austin Yates, Amanda Wadlow, Curtis A. Parsons and Brittney Parsons. Also, one Great-Grandchild - Kamyah Cooper. Brothers - Ronald Smith and wife Linda of Flat Rock, IL, Roger Smith and wife Carol of Flat Rock, IL, Randy Weger of Flat Rock, IL Sisters - Barbara Hosier of Missoula, MT , Shirley Jones and husband John of Robinson, IL.

Mrs. Parsons is preceded in death by her parents, a brother - Richard Smith and a sister - Beverly Krueger.

She was a paralegal for many years and loved to sew and read.. She and her husband moved to Carlyle five years ago from Palestine, IL.

There will be no services for Mrs. Parson.

To honor Mrs. Parsons with a memorial, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association and can be received at the Funeral Home.
