Travis Tull

Travis C. Tull, age 57 of Centralia, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Mr. Tull was born in Breese, Illinois on March 1, 1969, a son of Hollis “Chuck” and Ruth (Lanham) Tull. Travis graduated from Carlyle High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he worked at Centralia Correctional Center, retiring after 25 years of service. Travis had attended First Baptist Church of Carlyle and was an avid golfer who especially enjoyed spending time on the golf course.

Travis is survived by his brother, Jay Paul Tull (Jana) of Nashville; his nephews, Stewart Tull (Raevin Rather) and Dil Tull (Meghan); his great nieces, Amelia, Llewellyn, and Frankie; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis “Chuck” and Ruth Tull; and a niece, Sadie Tull.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 15, 2025, at Zieren Funeral Home (1111 Clinton St. Carlyle, IL) with Pastor Jason Lane, officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Travis are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received through Zieren Funeral Home.
